    "Dreams through mist" - details of the painting

    "Dreams Through Mist" is a large diptych and one of my favourite paintings. It is a captivating abstract painting that transports viewers into a world of ethereal beauty. Its light and translucent layers create a dreamlike backdrop. Delicate hints of pink and deep orange gently emerge, evoking feelings of warmth and anticipation. Amidst the mist, almost-black shapes intrigue and mystify. The artwork's airy atmosphere captures fleeting emotions, inviting contemplation and offering a glimpse into a suspended moment of reverie.

    Starting a large commission piece

    This video shows how I create the first layers of a commissioned painting. It is a large piece, 130 x 160cm therefore I use a canvas that is stretched on aluminium stretchers to avoid warping.
