  • Why do I create abstract paintings

    Why do I create abstract paintings? * Everyone has a creative side. And I’m not an exception. I always felt somewhere on an intuitive level that I would find something that I can use to express myself. And my searching led me to the creation of paintings and to the abstract direction. This direction is close to me and this is here I see my development. * I am madly in love with how abstract paintings look in modern interiors, I like the presence and the absence effect at the same time (it’s like the artwork is in the interior, but it doesn’t put pressure on you with its plot). * I like working with large canvases, shapes, stains, lines. I like experimenting in this direction and each time creating more and more technically complex artworks. * It seems to me that it's all about thinking. I myself am very interested in what visualizations my brain will lead me, what pictures it wants and can visualize ... * For me, abstraction is not chaos. The basis / core of any painting (abstraction is not an exception) is, of course, an idea, this is the thought that I want to tell you. * Composition is extremely important for conveying ideas (with its inherent structure, focus element and balance). Without a well-thought composition, the abstract painting will fall apart and you simply won’t be able to understand what I want to tell you. * In addition to composition, for me it is very important to work with tonal and colour interaction. Working with colour and composition is what keeps me in tune all the time and in constant searching. * What do I ultimately want to find? Aesthetic beauty. I want my idea to have a beautiful presentation. I want the idea to be enhanced by a harmonious plot and beautiful colour interaction. * Looking at my artworks I want you to feel me in them and the idea I want to tell you. I want to immerse you in my world of colours, play of colours and shapes, my world of abstraction.
