    Au plein air in the heat, diptych nearly finished

    I worked on this diptych over the course of a week in July 2022, painting mainly in the morning. The mid-summer climate provides quite a few challenges; insects, and the wind blowing the work over. Thanks to all of the lovely passers-by that stopped to admire the work and encourage me on :)

    A collection of small watercolours completed in Spain between 2015 - 2022. Most of these were completed in Alicante when I first moved to Spain. The Serra Gelada national park features many times also the Sierra Bernia & Puig Campana.
