    Another busy day in the studio!

    I am so happy and honored to have painted it for you Raelyn. I hope that it brings a little bit of peace to you and your family. ________ Today, my family received this precious gift "Angel Luke" Luke Geldaker from my cousin, Kari Houseman Rasey. The painting is an original water color painting by Kathy Morton Stanion. It seems like yesterday, that my cousin Kari Houseman Rasey's son, Joey Rasey passed away and she received her angel painting "Angel Joey". I remember thinking, what a beautiful gift to a Mother who has lost their son. I never dreamed, in only a few short years that I too would be receiving my own precious painting "Angel Luke". I love you Kari💜

    Another commission that I just finished. These paintings have a wonderful story behind it. A father commissioned them for his daughter's birthday. She belongs to a group called "Indian Princess" and her father participates as well. They pick their Indian names for the group and she is "Golden Butterfly" so her father chose "Golden Eagle.     Whoo Hoo! I have just been notified that The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio is going to purchase 2 - 4 of my pieces to add to their collection! Not sure which pieces yet, more details soon! http://www.decartsohio.org The Decorative Arts Center of Ohio is located in Lancaster, just southeast of Columbus. It is a nonprofit museum whose mission is to engage our community with innovative and stimulating exhibitions; to deliver an arts education curriculum that unleashes a sense of possibility and imagination; and, to preserve and showcase the architecture and collection that have been entrusted to our care. The Center provides exhibitions, public programs, art classes and workshops for all ages.
