Multiple challenging communications with Kat regarding a delivery issue resulted in no support. Instead artfinder stepped in to help. The costs for importing to U.K. had not been factored into pricing nor paid for so the piece was held at customs pending payment which I covered after spending my time tracking down what had happened. Disappointing all round.

I am very sorry that the buyer had to experience these complications. I have shipped pieces numerous times to the U.K., France, Sweden and other European countries without any issues. I called on Artfinder to step in because being in a different country I wasn't getting satisfactory information on what the delay was in delivering this piece and I thought they could assist me. As far as shipping or tariffs being higher, this was no fault of mine…I brought the piece to the United States Post Office and had them weigh and ship the piece. If they did not charge me enough to get the piece to its final destination I really don't see how I should be held accountable, the rate was in line with past pieces that I have shipped overseas. Let me also state here that the buyer paid way less than what the actual shipping cost was…probably by half, but I'm willing to meet the consumer half way on shipping because I know how expensive it can be to ship large packages. Again, I'm sorry about this unfortunate experience.
