    I was very happy to be profiled in last Sunday's Telegraph with my dog on a feature about dog trends. I was brought in for my dog portraits, I have had a huge increase in the number of canine portraits commission over the past 18 months and this piece was exploring whether the dog's place in the household is becoming increasingly elevated.

    In the studio

    Here is me in my favourite place - my studio. It smells of oil paint and turps: heaven! I use multiple jars and lids all filled with different substances. Some are for cleaning brushes, others for loosening paint, others for altering paint texture (ie linseed oil). I only use Michael Harding oil paints as I think they are the best. I am very particular about what support I paint on too, I like either linen or a very fine Italian cotton.
