    Small presentation: Green Lantern Zombie Punk

    One of many small presentations you can check out on my youtube chanel "DON KARL" This is Green Lantern Zombie Punk: a revision of the less extravagant original I made in 2012. An integrated LED Light turn it into a lightsculpture that makes the eyes glaze in different colours and has a glowing effect in the sticks and tubes on the head. The black-light active zombie skin adds a an extra bizarre touch to the sculpture.

    Welcome To Memphis

    "WELCOME TO MEMPHIS! "ist eine Hommage an die mailänder Designgruppe aus den 80' gern. Es ist eine Figur, die sich ständig verändert und in Bewegung ist und die eigene Kreativität des Besitzers, durch die Wahl der Bilder (oder Filme) auf den digitalen Bilderrahmen, fördert. Diese können durch neues Film- oder Bildmaterial vom Künstler, oder auch durch selbstkreiertes Material aktualisiert werden. Dazu werden SD-Cards oder USB Sticks verwendet. Durch die beidseitige Verwendung der Augen– und Mundplatten und Variation der Bilderrahmenstangen lässt sich auch die "Hardware" der Skulptur einfach verändern. Die IDEE: Die Skulptur ist Träger für eigene Ideen des Besitzers. So werden verschiedene Künstler in einer Skulptur vereint.Die Figur ist statisch und dennoch in sich aber sehr dynamisch. Im Endeffekt liefere ich nur die "Rahmen"- Bedingungen für den eigenen kreativen Prozess, nach dem MOTTO: Kunst ist, was Du draus machst! Maße: Tiefe 80 cm Höhe 125 cm Breite 100 cm
