Kal Mansur: 8' diameter circular sculpture, New York

This work combines the traditions of sculpture and painting. A built and painted sculpture is housed within translucent acrylic panels that cause the internal elements to shift under changing light and viewing conditions. The light casts internal shadows, illuminates other segments, and allows the viewer to visually travel through the composition. The artwork is permanently housed in the lobby of the SERRANO at 1735 York Avenue in New York City.
