I'm a big fan of this artist's seaside works, and have a number of her pieces. Her series of seaside paintings all involve vivid use of colour and a cheerful sense of life being enjoyed to the full in the beach scenes. As this summer draws to a close, I can use this painting to help me remember the evocative sense of a hot summer's day on the beach! Very life-affirming piece of art.

I've previously bought a number of these wonderful Beach studies by Julie Stevenson, and it's a pleasure to add this one to my collection. Bursting with colour, they really convey a wonderful sense of serenity with their portrayal of people at the Beach. I really like the combination of great technical skill, and the sense of joy conveyed with these exquisite little paintings.

Love my art very much indeed. I didn't realise the stars were stuck on rather than painted but I love looking at it a lot. It brings me pleasure every day.
