I really like the way modelling clay has been introduced into the picture to add texture which creates a very satisfying effect, particularly appropriate for conveying the feel of a landscape.

Thank you. I like working on the modelling paste and have done a few now. The texture is something different when working with watercolours. Glad you like it.

"Easdale Island" is a gorgeous water color painting. I especially love the vibrant colors that Julie selected. I am a huge Julie Morris fan. I highly recommend her work.

This mysterious painting makes me want to travel back to Scotland and find the castle that inspired it. I seem to recall that when I visited several years ago I saw many skies that colour! Painting arrived safely and ready to hang as promised. I will probably be returning to this site and this artist again for more inspirational art.

Many thanks again. This small castle is in a beautiful quiet location across the water. I only paint the ones I`ve seen or visited. I may well paint more next year.
