I am completely enamored by Julie Morris's miniatures, and I'm happy to add two of her pieces to my collection! :) I had some questions through the process and JM was very communicative, which was reassuring for me seeing as they had to come all the way to western Canada. All in all they got here in perfect condition and I was really happy with how she packaged them; there really would have been no chance of damage with how well they were packaged, so others need not be anxious if purchasing outside of the UK like me! The only downside is that the lovely big mats the miniatures come in are not necessarily a standard framing size (6x6 inch) so I will probably have to get them custom framed. That's not a bad thing it's just something I'd want others to consider when buying, so if you don't want to spend $$$ on framing maybe pick one of her various other sizes of paintings to enjoy!

I am very pleased they have arrived safely and are liked so fondly. Thankfully all my artworks have so far been dispatched to other countries without any problems. It is a delight to know they are in homes all over the world. The UK sell a lot of standard square frames in stores. I know other countries will be the same but unfortunately not all of them will be the same depending on where you live.

UK artist Julie Morris has done a splendid job recreating a lush and detailed landscape that is filled with all the muted yet vibrant colours of the countryside. A traditional style composition that shows technical excellence and an eye for both the minute details and their macro environment. Highly atmosphere and accomplished. Thanks for sharing.

I wanted to buy so many of Julie's cottage watercolours, but I arrived at the website too late, and they were almost all sold. I managed to find one to buy and I just love it. I have bought it for my husband as a birthday gift as we are moving to a thatched cottage on the south coast of England, and it's an apt purchase. I hope Julie will do some more cottage watercolours in the future- when she does I will hope to be first in line!
