    A message from Portia

    I realised of course that Tatiana was asking for a hand drawn card, so this is one that I drew today, inspired by Portia's invisible paw. I would love to receive some hand drawn cards in return! My heart goes out to all those children whose hopes and dreams are in such a fragile state, at this time when we are all sending messages of goodwill to each other.

    Postcards for Syrian children

    When I received Tatiana's plea for postcards for Syrian children, I was more prepared than most artists: I have a whole collection of postcards of my work that I have had printed over the last 10 years. They are going to go in the parcel along with a personal card from me. I hope this handful is enough!

    Me in my studio

    This is where I work, and until recently, this is where my dog used to spend most of her days. She passed away a couple of weeks ago at the ripe old age of 14 years, but I still feel her benevolent presence in the studio.
