Biography

After a misspent youth I finally saw the light and applied to art college; three years later I graduated with a fine art degree and since then I have sold and exhibited both nationally and internationally.
I have been commissioned by Foyles bookshop and had a sail design accepted for the Whitehorses Whitstable project. I have also completed an artists' residency at The Beaney Museum Canterbury

My paintings are influenced by artists such as Klimt and Hunterwasser, and European textiles and folk art traditions; my inspirations are the landscape and architecture but colour is my main obssession.
I paint mainly in acrylics because life is too short to wait for oils to dry, and all works are ready to hang.
