    commissioned portrait of Andy - a youth support coordinator at his charity Livewire Music. Andy is a big heavy metal fan, it was important to include his beloved Motorhead rings in this study - hence the title. Apologies for the poor quality image - the paint was still wet.

    I offered on social media platforms to paint a free portrait to an NHS worker. This is Paul, an engineer at Derriford Hospital, Devon UK. Paul has been working around the clock kitting out ICU with the necessary oxygen supplies needed for Covid wards. Here, he is welding some pipes as another area is getting ready for the new admissions. Thank you Paul.

    Teeny weeny portrait of a young Deborah Harry. I occasionally get asked to produce these tiny pieces for charity art auctions. It's a great way for people to purchase affordable original art - and all for a good cause. This one will help raise money for The Samaritans later in the year. I wanted to choose an image that will be pretty easy to sell - and Debbie Harry generally comes up trumps- the icon that she is, and she is not a lot larger than a tin of beans.

    This is one of 31 portraits that feature in my current solo exhibition 'On The Face Of It' . I wanted to show the togetherness of this close couple. I wanted to paint them together in a way that both faces equally packed a punch. Midnight blue background to mirror his shirt makes them look almost illuminated.

    Commission for a regular collector. A very quirky take on Vermeer's 'Girl With A Pearl Earring'. I very much enjoyed painting this unusual request, which despite it's quirkiness, makes perfect sense. A gold acrylic Baroque pattern added to the background gives a lovely rich feel overall.
