    My aunt dreams of visiting Budapest, so I've painted her a city night scene so she could get inspired and commit to the journey quicker. I've been to Budapest very recently and the painting is inspired by one of the many photos I took there. Acrylic on linen stretched canvas I brought back with me from Moscow.

    Comissioned wedding watercolor

    Comissioned wedding watercolor

    I was requested to paint a quick watercolor in greys and very natural greens on A2 size format recently leaving space on the painting for people's signatures. It was a very pleasant surprise for me when I took it to the client 2 days later to discover it was for his wedding. It was most unusual non-glam wedding request I ever came across, but at the same time I loved painting it so much that despite the color-scheme, uncommon for me also as I'm all into bright colors, we both - client and I were happy with the result. Here's almost finished image of the artwork.

    Wrapping of artworks

    I pay a lot of attention to protecting the corners of a framed artwork, as they may get chipped or damaged during transportation. So I tend to wrap them up well in bubble wrap or similar. At the moment I also use thick wallpaper with old-school newspaper images.

    I recieved this special request to make a fun cat portrait. A sphynx bald cat. After discussion with the buyer we've come up with this crazy idea of a gangsta type of cat in a jacket and a hat and tattoo on his back. Both myself and the collector are absolutely in love with how it came out.

    I really got inspired by the curved platform and tube tunnel of the Waterloo station of the London Underground, and to begin with was trying to make a photographic copy of the 50 shades of London tube grey....until I had a fresh look at my acrylic painting and realized that I see many more colors in it :)
