Longlisted, Visual Art Open 2026

I'm delighted to share that my Rooms of Light series has been Longlisted for the Visual Art Open 2026 and will advance to the second stage of judging. Rooms of Light explores the emotional presence of architectural space through light, silence, and human experience. Rather than depicting specific places, each painting invites a quiet moment of reflection, where space becomes memory and light becomes emotion. I'm grateful to the jury for this recognition and thankful to everyone who has supported my artistic journey. Looking forward to the next stage. — Jane M.

Working on The Geometry of Silence – Fragments VI

A glimpse into my studio while working on Fragments VI from The Geometry of Silence series. I am interested in how memory can be reduced to simple architectural forms, muted colors, and quiet spatial relationships. Each painting develops slowly through layers of adjustment, searching for a balance between structure, atmosphere, and silence.
