Delighted with this sensitive and atmospheric painting which has a great feeling of sunshine and nostalgia. Could be a film set for a latter-day Thomas Hardy. Very lovely. Lifts the spirits. I want to put on a floaty muslin dress and stroll into the field ! Where's my straw hat ? !!
