I received a fantastic work by Jack and immediately put it on my mantle for safety until I found it’s permanent place in my home. I found Jack Bagley very helpful and friendly to deal with and he always responded quickly to my messages. The painting arrived very promptly and was well packaged. I love this painting. It is even better than the photos suggest. It is a very powerful painting and the subject is almost alive and three dimensional. After a little research I established that the sitter is Frans van Schooten and my painting is based on one by Rembrandt. It is not an exact copy. Instead it's a lively interpration of the Rembrandt. As I said I love my new painting. It is striking and very beautiful. Thank you, Jack.

Very pleased with the picture. It arrived well protected. This is my 3rd painting from this artist - one an industrial scene (a family gift) and two coastal scenes. I think some of his work is particularly atmospheric, expressive and thoughtful.
