  • Biography
My art explores the control between nature, framing and painting; I like to control spectators forcing them to look through various different frames at different angles, reconstructing how the art is seen whilst exploring the whole area.

My paintings often reflect the environment I have created with lines and negative spaces, while the colours and textures are from the surroundings or photographs that I take inspiration from. I love to work with a lot of different materials from oil paints to different wood varnishes, acrylic paints to soil and types of wood to sand. The contrasts between these materials and the different types of textures makes my work exciting to me.

My work can be very abstract from time to time, however having worked on some small commissions lately, the details in my more realistic paintings have improved entirely. As an emerging artist I am still trying to find my style, but I love it every time that I pick up a paintbrush.
