    Ilya Gusinski is 39 years old and lives in Greenwich, Connecticut. He has received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College in Massachusets, with focus on Studio Arts. 

    He is a marine life enthusiast who is well versed in naturalistic macro underwater photography. A TDI certified Tri-Mix Scuba diver, with more than 15 years of experience, he has visited many hard to reach places, like the islands and atolls in the South Pacific and Oceania, the Red Sea coast and most of the Caribbean islands where he had an opportunity to see and photograph the amazing underwater world, its plants, and creatures.

    He is very well traveled and enjoys High Dynamic Range Long Exposure Photography of nighttime metropolitan cityscapes - such as Tokyo, Edinburgh, Marrakech, Jerusalem, New York.

    More recently, he has been exploring Light Art Performance Photography and how it accentuates the human form as well as  Pattern Art inspired by the history of symmetrical design employed by different cultures around the world resulting in unique one-of-a-kind black and white art.
