    Irina Tikhonova is a Russian born artist resident of Mallorca that depicts the beauty of the Mediterranean in an intense convergence of expressionism, realism and abstracts with the passion she has for nature clearly stated in her works.
    Making art for 23 years she lived and studied in St. Petersburg, graduating from the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts university with top honors. After many travels around the world (over 35 countries), the absorption of  the culture and artistic expressions of other countries is an expected result reflected on her works. 
     
    Always attracted to bright colors and harmonic combinations, she expresses her love for the world through her paintings. In her canvasses, we will find combinations of figurative, realistic art and expressionism, often resulting in contemporary art, such as her latest collection: "Mullorca".
