    You can start to see the patterns develop now. I'm using different media to create these. Pencil, pen, acrylics, printed paper and later I will add a thick layer of resin which will really give the paintings a professional gallery finish.

    So I decided to create a sixteen part canvas design made up of 12 inch canvases. This is the initial pattern which I will add to with acrylics later.

    Drying the resin

    Drying the resin

    Using this very fine sunny day to dry the resin on my new large poppy painting. It really does make a huge difference giving it a gallery standard finish, not to mention the protection.
