About Heather Dickinson

I live in a lovely wee rural village surrounded by countryside. I like to draw and paint from the local area, usually nature and wildlife that I have photographed. I do stray further afield with my artwork too as I have done a few safari/jungle animals. I basically love nature and strive to capture the beauty of it in my artwork.
I also have a lot of local landmarks just waiting to be drawn or painted so have plenty of artwork still to come!
I like detail, especially in animals, therefore my pieces take a long time to complete but I enjoy capturing likeness with details.
