  • Biography
For me, art is a way of communication by which I deal with sensory experiences from my environment and the feelings evoked by them. It is important to me that the result is coherent even though my art might be perceived as less accessible by some beholders.

    Statement:
In my art I strive to create color spaces that should have great depths, often achieved by light-dark and / or warm-cold contrasts.
With my work I respond to the many visual impressions that affect me every day.

As a catalyst / inspiration I often use paintings from the 15th to the 17th century, but also impressions from advertising or films, as well as everyday situations. But mainly "old" paintings because everyday visual impressions are often neither positive nor beautiful.
The forms are amorphous, interrupted by line and grid structures.
I am not concerned with depicting something seen, what is seen serves exclusively as a starting impulse. The work is done in an experimental use of acrylic and oil paints, supplemented with spray paints.
The process is the important thing, not the reproduction of my visual impressions.
Nevertheless, my viewers should perceive the work just as positive and "beautiful" to see, as it is for me to engage with my sources.

Please don't hesitate to contact me, if your country isn't in my shipping table.
I'll give you an individual quote. Thank you.
