Today I'm working on a Roasted Tomato painting.

I've got the morning to do some quality painting before I head off to the Woking Society of Arts Appraisal this afternoon. Where I'll be doing my Chairwoman duties. Its such a lovely day and the studio is nice and warm. The painting I'm creating is from a Roasted Tomato image and its got such a lovely range of tomatoes in it. It going to take me a good long time to finish this as there are so many highlights and shadows.

Demonstrating for Guildford Art Society at G Live

Myself and two other professional artists were invited to demonstrate for the public at this weekends G live Arts Family Day. We had lots of the public join us in drawing the still lives we had set up and view what we were painting. It was a lovely day.

Woking Arts Hub Website opening night.

A large group of Artists, Dancers, Dramatists, Literary folk met at Woking Lightbox Gallery to see the Woking Arts Hub website up and running and find out what it has to offer the community. It should be a brilliant site for people to meet or find out about Local Artists in all there forms.

Me in my Studio working on the Ladybird picture.

Me in my Studio working on the Ladybird picture.

I had a full morning with the wonderful Photographer Stephen Rush. And he tooks some wonderful shots of me in my studio. This is the first one he's sent me. So I look forward to a few more to show you. My studio is a purpose built cabin at the bottom of my 1930s semi garden. I get to look out at all the wonderful flowers and relax. It smells of pine. I use a computer to show images and manipulate photographs to aid in my work. The pictures were taken on the 17th June and the Ladybird painting I'm working on has sold as of 18th June. Awesome.
