    Objects of Nature are the most beautiful because they have received their beauty directly from the creator! I have always loved pinecones, picking them up from the ground when I see a nice or unusual one. Its perfect order with its spiral symmetry with its Fibonacci sequence and yet within this perfect order, still endless variation! Just like each Snowflake is unique, to me at least, so is every pinecone. Does that not say something about he who has made it all? Also do not forget that they just feel so good to hold in your hand!

    Painting on location - On the rooftops over Stockholm

    Yet another summer in Stockholm and my most dangerous location yet. On the hottest day, and with heat rising from the metal roof, I sketched in fear of getting vertigo on the sloping rooftop (Right at the famous Coca-Cola Neon-sign) of this five story building, but the reward: an unbeaten view over the bustling movements at "Slussen" including the "Katarina elevator" and all the construction work.

    Holiday in Stockholm again and where do you get the best view over Stockholm if not on the top of the "Katarina Elevator" by "Slussen". It feel like I could dedicate my whole carrier to paint on this location. The view is toward the east and the waterway that is making its entrance straight into the heart of Stockholm with its big ships finding there ways in from the Baltic sea.
