Absolutely wonderful painting, every time I look at it I am taken back to my times in Australia, the light, colour and sense of distance are so well painted. Very pleased with how it took on my “landscape wall”. I will definitely be buying more from Graham

Graham, we are delighted with your painting. It was purchased on impulse as we were hanging our art in our "downsizer" and found that two landscapes we love, clashed when hung together. When I spotted your "seascape" I felt that it was the perfect piece to separate them. More significantly, on a nostalgia level, it reminded me of the rocks between Bateau Bay and Pebbly Beach, where in the late 1950's my parents had a weekender. The land was won in a Crown land lottery, I was very young and spent a lot of time on the rocks in that general area. It was then dirt streets and no facilities other than a trip to the Entrance.
On an artistic level, we love the "lens" perspective, colour tonal realism and overall balance that the piece represents.
I have picked it up from the framers today, friends, who greatly admired it as well. After I hang it tomorrow i will send you a shot in situ. and the identities of your hanging partners!!!
I'm not sure how to do this on Artfinder, but will try and track your email to send a personal note to you, or do you have our email address?
Yours in much appreciation....Peter Freudenstein and Alison Chambers
