    The artist at work

    My usual position, in front of the easel, the current painting is an experiment with colour. The painting is called 'The Tug, the Tanker and the Pilot Boat. Large ships come into the River Fowey and dock up the river, where they take on the precious cargo of the worlds finest Cornish China Clay.

    The River Fowey

    The River Fowey

    The River Fowey, taken from the viewpoint behind Queen Catherines Castle, with the sea behind me. The town of Fowey is on the left, Polruan on the right, there are lots of visiting yachts moored on the River. This is where I live and the source of inspiration for much of my work, it's great.
