    As you see I don't make only photographs and work with them, I also paint, I make sculptures of wax and in summer I work also in stone. Mostly I mix all these materials and use them in for instance my photoArt or as you see in my photo-portrait in compositions. Here I am making a composition of sculpture in wax and a photograph for my solo exhibition in Hannover 2015. See exhibitions. I hope you like my work. Feel free to contact me if you do have questions or whatever. About me and what me bothers. I was born in the land of Maas and Waal in the Netherlands, a really mysterious part of the country in where telling stories about whitches and fellowships were normal items. After I graduated my photogaphic art education I worked for magazins making portraits and f.i. fashion photo's. I always wanted to make my own art and after the digital revolution when photoshop came out, I felt comfortable to step in. In 2008 I won the professional artprice in my county and after that I really was succesfull. I no time my work accompanied the work of Corneille, Appel a.s.o. . I am very interested in our people's world and in cultural and sexual diversity. I mostly therefore work in projects and my basic-project is indeed about "the world of people" as a sort of general research. "The world of people is about men and women behind often beautiful looking facades in the middle of the chaotic universe we live in. I research the raw site of our lives represented as fairytales in a wonderland as a enlargement of our life. Enlarged characters in chaos, beauty and imperfection. In every new project I vary on this basic-entity. In my newest work I want to show that everybody is longing his or her happiness. Hereby the place where we live can be very important. My city images show my own contribute to a happy and save environment. Education and way of work After my photographic art graduation I worked as a freelance photographer for magazines and as a fashion photographer . After the digital revolution I started with my art-career and in 2008 I won an important professional art-price in my country. That really was my starting point as a professional artist. As Artist I want to be unthetered, in other words FREE. For me this means I make my own plans and I don’t follow trends but of course I am influenced by others [artists, architects, designers] and of course I am a human being of my time. I hope you got a glimp of what I am doing and how I work. I utterly hope that my work helps our world to be a better world. I always will try to be a better person and server. Geert
