    My Art Fair Booth

    This is me inside my current 2023 art fair booth setup in June. The place is in beautiful downtown Oregon, Wisconsin, 10 miles south of Madison. That was a pretty successful day, even though it was the first year they ran the Oregon Art Fair.

    My First Monoprint

    I was up in Montana visiting my cousin, who is also a printmaker, and asked if I could invade his studio and have him show me how to do a monoprint. An enjoyable afternoon ensued for both of us, and I came away with a monoprint of a magpie.

    Pulling Morel

    Pulling Morel

    As part of a class in linocut at the University of Wisconsin Madison Continuing Studies in the "infamous" (architecturally) Mosse Humanities building (wherein the Art Department resides), I am pulling the large Morel woodcut on their expensive Takach press. I am using my homemade registration system to keep the colors in proper registration. That day was a lot of fun.
