My Pleasure Selina! Etching is such a compatible medium for wild, windswept mountainscapes. The effect is brooding, atmospheric and suitably textural. I'm hoping to produce more artwork of this nature, (one in the pipeline at the moment) to post on Artfinder. What a spectacular piece of artwork! The level of detail in real life is amazing! You will spend hours just looking at all the beautiful detail. The staircase and fish detail is unbelievable! What you really miss on the website is how 3 dimensional the piece is! There are things that you won't believe are there when you see it for real! Will be enjoying for years :) thank you so much Francesca for producing such a magnificent etching!

My pleasure Jimo! So glad you like it. Even though I have quite a series of mermaid etchings\illustrations already, I keep dreaming up new ideas which I hope to translate visually as a special treat in between my more figurative stuff. The possibilities are endless! For me,i imaged this woman working hours and hours and i found her artwork impressive. My little nephew just feel quiet when she lost her self in the picture. And,i have just to say: "To see a world in a grain of sand And a Heaven in a Wild Flower, Hold infinity in the palm of your hand And Eternity in an hour" Thanks Francesca Learmount
