  • Me while I paint

    For me preparing the background of a canvas is not simply a preparatory work but it is a door, which I slowly approach, to enter that spirit of dense and at the same time light depth that allows me to navigate in a dimension that transcends the third dimension. For hours and even for days, I continue this state of meditation, of very high concentration, of pure presence, then, suddenly, my hands draw something else, they leave the brush of the black background, almost with speed I register the image that wants to descend , reach us. When I'm in this phase, I'm in the most immense love, immersed in a pleasure that is difficult to describe with words.
