    Starting new project

Sometimes my studio is just too small. Over the past few days, I have been stretching canvases for my new project. Throughout the holidays and early next year, I will be working on 30 large-sized canvases, exploring "flow" as a theme and an experiment to hone a new abstract series for my so far biggest solo show in Cologne. The details will follow soon...

Pigments, ethanol, oil and varnish are the basis of my work. Multiple layers created by my wet on wet soaking technique, in which multiple layers blend with and react against each other, generating fine organic shapes and textures so characteristic in my paintings.
