    Moment in my Day

    Here is a shot I took this week while in the middle of painting 'Three from Him'. The sun was coming in directly on my flowers so I couldn't paint for awhile. I was working at my husbands desk and looking back towards my end of our 'Site' looked so beautiful that I had to take a photo. I love making the place I live in beautiful.

    I love painting outdoors and I am inspired by many landscape artists. This is one of my plein air painting excursions in Christchurch and my trusty bike, though slow.

    On the Easel

    This is one of my latest paintings. I did a drawing of the pose and idea at the end of 2015 and now I have expanded it into a painting. It is all from my imagination and to model the light I had my husband take photos of me in the same pose which I used partially as reference.
