Emma was a pleasure to work with, and the painting arrived promptly and well packaged. The artwork itself is wonderful -- the colors are vibrant and lend their own energy to an otherwise peaceful, bucolic scene: traditional English countryside with a modern twist! Highly recommend this artist.

The painting has a patch to the left of the man that isn't visible in the pictures online. It looks like a cover up of a blemish. Picture is lovely but disappointed with the blemish

Hi Francesca, I am sorry you are disappointed with your painting.
I am very disappointed too.
I use the highest quality canvas. I use linen canvas which is more expensive than cotton and higher quality. Linen is a natural textile and its texture is not 100% flat like MDF board. There are variations in the thread and I believe this accounts for the "blemish".
I am disappointed you did not comunicate this to me eariler, prior to this review stage. I sent you communication via Artfinder which I see is unread from your side which is perhaps why you only gave me 3 out of 5 for seller communication. I take so much care selling and delivering art to collectors as my previous reviews hopefully show. Indeed you gave me 5 out of 5 for delivery. Hence I am very disappointed that a collector has had an experience they are not entirely happy with. Personally I would have sent the painting back if not happy, within the 14 day limit Artfinder generously allow or at least contacted me regarding this issue so that this could have been resolved rather than via a review. We could even have discussed sending you an alternative "people portrait" instead. Although you are now outside that limit, from date of purchase, I will contact Artfinder to see if they could arrange to send the painting back if you are happy with it and all at my own personal cost. As a dedicated artist I do not like the idea a collector is not completely happy with one of my paintings and love them as I do. My paintings are very personal to me and not a commodity I simply send off. I want collectors to love and enjoy them as I do. I would rather have the painting returned in this scenario.
