    I am also feeling faintly stupid but very delighted because I only just realised that Claire Keegan’s novella “Foster”, is the basis for the film “The Quiet Girl”. My oil painting “The Traditional House, Gola” has been used for the cover of the reprint of “Foster”.

    Another Successful Year - Here's to 2022!

    I managed to sell in over 120 peices of art in 2021, nearly a quarter of those via Artfinder - a year in which my business was closed for two months, moved from Wales to Ireland, dealt with Covid 19 and new Brexit regulations. It was a good year considering all this! Thank you to all you lovely people who bought and supported my work.

    So delighted to see my work hanging in the home of the esteemed US artist Jessica Brilli. She is one of my very favourite artists of all time. Jessica Brilli asked me to trade paintings. I will receive "Cutlass" by Jessica Brilli and she received "With A Road Running Through It" a "rural minimal" oil painting of Gola Island, off the Donegal coast, from me. Jessica has been a big influence on my own style of painting so I feel very appreciated and validated by her contacting me to say she loved my work and wanted to own some and have my work in her home. So chuffed that this has now become a reality!

    2019 has been another good year with over 170 works sold I am delighted to say. Thank you to everyone who bought my work. I also made a new home in Donegal this year and look forward to spending much more time there from 2020 on!
