Dear Olena, I like your painting very much, it makes me happy to see it on the wall of my living room. But unfortunately it has an obvious mechanical damage which is very skillfully covered up with oil paint and masked as a broken stem of a bouquet. It is still clearly seen under a certain perspective. Regards, Liya.

Hello Liya. Thank you very much for your 5 Stars review! And I am so sorry you are not happy with my painting on 100%. I used impasto medium to create background, to create some texture but obviously it does not work as I expected. I am going to make more painting with similar subject, and if you would like any of my future artworks I give very special price. I saw several of Olena's paintings of poppies on this website and of course I wanted one for myself because they're so beautiful. Unfortunately, they were all sold! And so I contacted her asking if I could commission a painting and she kindly agreed. She asked me which of the paintings I liked the best and within a few days painted a beautiful picture for me and posted it on her site so that I could see it before I purchased it. I was delighted with the beautiful painting and she send it immediately, using the greatest care in packing so the work would not be damaged. She asked if she could delay sending it just a day or two to let the paint dry; I was impressed with her thoughtfulness and meticulous nature. The painting is absolutely beautiful and I would have posted a picture but I am still in the process of picking out a frame that will best suit the work and show all of its beauty off.
