    Expo Sentires

    For this exhibition, I presented 17 works, a selection that brings together much of my artistic exploration surrounding hands and feet, elements that have become fundamental within my visual language for their ability to convey memory, identity, and emotion. I also included portraits, pieces that have allowed me to further explore human expression, light, and the sensitivity of skin, expanding both the technical and narrative aspects of my artistic practice.

    SENTIRES

    Sentires represents my first solo exhibition, and I could not imagine a more meaningful place to experience this moment than my hometown, Tuluá, Valle del Cauca. Returning to this city and receiving the support of so many people who saw me grow up, as well as those who believed in and supported my journey into art, has been a deeply rewarding experience.

    It was splendid for me

    Selling these works to the same collector was a very special and significant moment for me, as I was in a stage of exploration and discovery within my artistic practice. Knowing that someone connected so deeply with several of my pieces was a valuable experience that motivated me to continue developing my visual language.

    In December 2024, I had the opportunity to meet a Colombian collector who acquired several of my works. From the very beginning, he connected with my art and showed a genuine interest in my process, especially valuing my proposal as a young artist. Over time, his support and trust have become a very meaningful part of my artistic journey

    MY FIRST EXHIBITION

    In October 2024, I had my first group exhibition at ACD Gallery & Studio, an art gallery where I remain a permanent resident to this day. This exhibition marked an important moment in my artistic journey, bringing together young emerging artists with impactful proposals in a space where something of this scale had rarely been seen. During the exhibition, three of my works were acquired by a collector from the United States: the oil paintings Ensueño and Time 1, along with the charcoal drawing Desnudo 1, a particularly meaningful piece as it was my first formal exploration of this medium.

    "DREAMER & ÉXTASIS"

    These small-format studies, created in 2024, emerged as part of an exploration of how light interacts with skin and transforms its visual perception. Beyond being technical exercises, these pieces marked an important stage of learning and experimentation in my artistic journey. They were acquired by two people who, over time, became very special within my path, and today both works are located in Canada.

    Sol Naciente

    Is an artwork created in October 2025 as a deeply special commissioned piece. In this work, I captured the hands of a family: those of a father, a mother, and their newborn baby, creating an intimate composition where the parents’ hands gently hold their child’s tiny hands. This piece represents the beginning of a new chapter, unconditional love, and the fragility of first encounters. More than a painting, it is a visual testimony of union, care, and birth.

    With this work, I began my exploration of medium-format pieces and a visual research focused on the texture of hands and skin. It became a key piece in my artistic development, opening new technical and conceptual possibilities within my practice. In 2024, the artwork was acquired by a collector in Norway, becoming an important milestone in my artistic journey as well.

    ELEAZAR SALAZAR

    A 26-year-old emerging Colombian artist from Tuluá, Valle del Cauca. His artistic journey began at the age of 18, exploring circus arts, juggling, and theater, before discovering painting in 2020 as his most authentic form of expression. Since then, he has cultivated a deeply intimate and expressive body of work, while also initiating creative spaces that foster artistic collaboration and promote social transformation. He is currently participating in an artist residency, with his work exhibited in diverse cultural venues and recognized by collectors both nationally and internationally.

    MI EXPERIENCIA PINTANDO PIES

    Es una obra figurativa que explora el cuerpo como un territorio vivo, marcado por el tiempo, la experiencia y la transformación. La composición, centrada en los pies, evoca la relación íntima entre el cuerpo y la tierra, sugiriendo arraigo, memoria y crecimiento interior. La riqueza cromática y la textura orgánica de la pintura recuerdan superficies naturales: tierra húmeda, raíces y minerales.
