  • Making of "Touch of the sea"

    This video was made in studio by the time of first inking this linocut plate. Here you can see a bit more of the printmaking process and tools that I use. The plate is not the final product but it is the main thing that leads us to the print. My artworks are all handprinted by me and I will try to show you more about the process in next posts. I have always liked videos like this, since the first inking is special moment and plates after that don't look the same. By inking the plate with a roller, we will see the final result and all carved areas clearly. This linucut called "Touch of the sea" is large scaled and it is one of the latest I have done. You will be soon able to see it in my shop and have the opportunity to order it.
