A silent auction featuring fine art from artists around the world.
Los Angeles artist, Kim Rose, has recruited artists from around the world to come together under the same cause: to use fine art as a vehicle to bring funds and awareness to children in Mexico. The heart for this project stems from the legacy Kim’s mother, Marisol, left imprinted on her daughter. Marisol was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and despite living in poverty most of her childhood, she always praised the programs established around her that allowed her to explore her creativity. These simple organizations and after school programs built her the foundation she needed to grow into the incredible woman and example she was.
Biography
My name is Diana Tuchs, I am a full-time artist from St. Petersburg, based in Belgrade, Serbia. I have participated in several exhibitions and my artworks are found in private collections across the USA and Europe.
My life as a professional artist began at the age of 16 when I’ve sold watercolors at my parents' souvenir store. It helped me to pay for my studies at the Saint-Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts. At now I'm creating paintings in oils on canvas mainly in my art studio.
Flowers are quite surreal and magic for me. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them, which pays tribute to the natural world reminds us to slow down, and helps us reconnect with nature. My paintings with peonies have already become well known all over the world. They’re used in various fields - to create paintings by numbers, embroidery, prints for clothes.
I have approached the floral compositions as geometry forms or as floral ‘portraits’. I have found myself drawn into the complex and varied colors, that make up these compositions. My goal is to inspire those who see my work to look more carefully at the world around them, that pay tribute to the natural world reminds us to slow down and helps us reconnect with nature.
Where I get my inspiration? My secret is simple - nature and attention to detail! Our world is stunningly beautiful and I dream of my paintings working in your home as a source of positive energy that recharges the whole family, makes them happy!
I have my own online school where I teach how to draw my most popular paintings. I’ve been selling my paintings successfully through my Instagram. There are already 76 thousand followers, who are looking forward to my paintings.
I regularly cooperate with the largest paint manufacturer in Russia, the Nevsky Palette company. My artworks are found in many private, municipal and corporate collections around the world. It has become the main business of my life! I have participated in more than 20 exhibitions.
