Darren's pieces are even more stunning in person. I've purchased two, and I am in love with both of them. He ships them super fast, as well! Thank you Darren! I'm sure I'll be back for another painting or two.

This is a cute, and quite touching, winter scene. It's very nicely done, as are all of Mr. Carey's works, but what I like best is the simple, yet personal, aspect of his paintings. Many characters are faceless, the scenes quite common, and yet you have to stop for moment, look at them and think. You can't help feeling that perhaps you have met those people, been to that bar, read a book in that park. There's a calm familiarity that I find very appealing.

Really love this painting,I’m use to seeing these lovely birds in my garden so any painting depicting these marvellous creatures has to be authentic,this painting is spot on

This is a nicely done and peaceful painting that conveys the feeling of winter beautifully. Although there was minimal conversation with the artist, the piece is quite realistic and requires no explanation. It will be a lovely addition to a collection of winter holiday scenes.
