About Claudia Trongmo

  • Biography
From her home in Alentejo, Portugal,  surrounded by trees and endless rolling hills, time slows and the earth speaks, Claudia’s paintings are an emotional connection between herself and the raw landscape of the region. Blending paint, creating layers and textures on both canvas and paper, very often outdoors, she takes in the land’s rhythm and palette of the seasons to inspire her. Each piece is unique, a reimagined abstract landscape, a dialogue between nature and Artist, her mental and body health along with echoes of all her lived experiences.
