  • The Making of a photomontage

    This video shows the development involved in creating this photomontage. I never know eher an image will end up. It is an iterative process of adding and subtracting cut out photographic detaisl until an image starts to make sense. This image was inspired by the lakes and mountains of the lake district, but is also an invented landcsape.

    Me at Work

    I create digital photomontages on the computer, so after my adventures photographing the coast and other places I return to the studio to work in Photoshop. I don't generally have an idea of how a picture will look when I begin creating it, but rather discover it through the process of making. I do however, know when I have arrived.
