Love, love, LOVED this painting! It was exactly as shown online. The seller was quick to respond to any questions I had and the piece arrived a lot sooner than I had anticipated. So happy with this purchase.

The pieces are beautiful and were dispatched promptly with good communication from the artist. However, when purchased I was asked if I wanted it framed (as it said it would be) or not (for a discount), and I chose framed (as it was sold). Sadly the frame was of poor quality and broken when it arrived, but it was lockdown and in principle we were pleased to have been able to support the artist so we simply reframed it ourselves. We did not contact the artist so he didn't have an opportunity to rectify things which I am sure he would have done in ordinary circumstances, and the pieces themselves are wonderful which is the important part. However, it was rather disappointing to have such a shabby frame and not to have it as sold.

Chris made this commission experience very easy, understandable and enjoyable. He worked tirelessly with me regarding the details I wanted in the painting, and worked diligently perfecting his work. The painting arrived on time and was perfect. It is beautiful and we love it. When I brought the painting to the Framer's Gallery, the staff and other clients remarked on how much they liked it. The painting has broad appeal, not only for its content but especially for the style in which it was painted - reminiscent of Van Gogh. Not exactly what I expected (that is the fun of getting commission work isn't it) but I love the painting anyway. Chris has been really professional in his approach, very considerate and easy to communicate with. He asked for a lot of details about what I wanted, where the painting would be placed and so on, then kept me updated on his progress. It arrived ahead of the delivery date and was extremely well packaged. I will most certainly be watching to see his new work and would be very happy to place a commission with him again sometime in the future.

A lovely painting which captures an intimate moment of a fox at rest. The colouring is subtle and delicate.
