About Charlie Parsons

Scotland is a place rich with the scenic beauty that fuels my art. The characterful towns, the moody hills, the sea and sky of a thousand shades - I strive to capture some fragment of the feeling of witnessing these sights in oil and canvas. The satisfaction of a well-placed brush stroke, the hunt for an elusive hue, the refining and balancing of a composition, at their heart is the world outside the door.

I graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design some ten years ago, and after a long break focusing on digital art, now I come back to oil paint with new ideas, new goals, and a new approach to style.
