    I've been experimenting with hand colouring my etchings with ink. Thinking about doing a limited edition of these for Artfinder.

    My Process explained!

    I mainly etch on copper because I like the clarity and depth of line that can be achieved using this particular metal. When I have drawn out my plate I then use Ferric Chloride to etch my lines then print onto fine printmaking paper. With etching you have to create your entire artwork as a mirror image of what you would like the end outcome to look like, every letter, figure and object has to be drawn as its own reflection!
