This is a beautiful, high energy rendering of a low energy horse having a Monday morning.. the ground really pops, the light shines bright off the flanks, it's a very true interpretation of movement and attitude. I was very pleased to ask the artist to frame it too, and actually it's a lovely feeling to unwrap a totally wall-ready package including frame. Shaun's animal depictions are terrific, no wonder they sell so well. Delighted to have an example of his work.

Painting is truly beautiful and even more impressive in person. In my opinion, this is a high quality piece of art and I would certainly purchase from the artist again. It even has a nice frame on it already. In addition, it was very carefully packaged for international shipping. Thank you!

Shaun is an exceptional artist who took time to understand the history of the individuals he was commissioned to paint. He is incredibly thoughtful and engaging and his work is provocative, born from his interest in the subjects. We have a painting that encapsulates what we wanted from an artist that was a pleasure to deal with. Could not recommend Shaun enough!

It was an honour to complete this commission for James and his family. Learning the history of the subjects and the very special bond between them enabled me to become emotionally involved which, in turn, led to a piece I am proud to have completed.
