I cannot tell you how beautiful this work is. I was worried about it being pastel but once framed it is incredibly beautiful and modern. This work is a Christmas present for my son and his wife and they will certainly be thrilled Thank you

First of all, I love this artwork. Communication with the artist was simply perfect. The shipment was very fast and the packaging was correct. I recommend Brian as a seller and especially as an artist

As you can see from this advert the horse is black. when it arrived it was dark brown and when I queried it with the artist he became aggressive and told me to send it back and if it wasnt damaged I would get my money back. He inferred I was being difficult and said it wasnt worth the trouble. I complained to Artfinder about his attitude and the lack of accuracy in the colour of the painting on their illustration. I reluctantly kept the picture but won't deal with him again (and maybe not Artfinder either)

Im really sorry this has happened and the review is quite upsetting after selling nearly 60 on Artfinder without any problems at all. I tried to answer the many questions as honestly as I could, including why I couldn’t reduce the price and also explain the black/dark brown problem ! When it became clear he was having doubts about the painting I suggested he send it back for a full refund . At no point did I say he was being difficult and I certainly did not say ‘it wasn’t worth the trouble’ Not sure why he has decided to keep a painting he was unhappy with but I hope he at least finds some pleasure with it in the future. Many thanks for the messages of support and advice from Artfinder members, they helped a lot.

It was an excellent experience from start to finish with Brian Halton. I bought his work Maison La Goulue. His instructions were very clear and helpful. He gave proper handling instructions and special instructions for my framer. The work was opened at the framer so I saw it for the first time personally there and when we rolled it out we both gasped at how fabulous it was. It framed up beautifully and has quickly become one of my favorite pieces. The shipping was extraordinarily quick (especially during times of lockdown worldwide). His communication was top notch. The work arrived in perfect condition and the best part of it all: it is just beautiful. I could not be happier.
