Biography
Berta Giner was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, in 1980.
She is an artist who has always been linked to design, creativity and art. Most of her career has been developed in advertising agencies and multinational companies.
She has always painted and has given painting and drawing classes since she was a child, but it was not until the end of 2021 when she decided to devote herself full time to her absolute passion. She made this decision when she felt she had reached the maturity she wanted in her painting and in her own technique.
In 2022, in just a few months, he has already participated in several international fairs, exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Barcelona, also in renowned galleries in Madrid, and his works are being acquired by collectors in the USA, Germany, Italy, Spain and Brazil.
"My works are not literal representations, they are captures of reflections and light in matter. Personal interpretations of the beauty shown in nature, and also of the most hidden beauty, the one that is not perceptible to the naked eye.
In my creations I do not use brushes; I use spatulas, blades, rollers, sticks... and sometimes even my own hands to get the result I want.
With my works I want to bring light and happiness to the spaces and homes where they are exhibited, and that those who observe them feel, even if it is just a hint, of what I have felt during their creation."
