I love the paintings of people by Frederic Belaubre. I have a sketch for a painting of mother and baby.This is an incredibly tender painting and Frederic has achieved a wonderful atmosphere; the position of the mother's body is so true, and the baby's eyes are just as a baby looks when feeding from a bottle. He must know them both so well - I do not know whether it is his wife and baby but it is a very intimate painting - I just love it. In his small paintings the body language is wonderful. I am not so keen on his abstract paintings. .
